Theotokos means "The Birthgiver of God". Mary, the Virgin(Isaiah 7:14), gave birth to the God-Man Jesus Christ of Nazareth(Isaiah 9:6, Micah 5:2). The Incarnation of the Only-Begotten Son of God is the "Great Mystery" of the Faith(1 Tim. 3:16).Podcast By Fr Thomas Hopko:
